Milk & Honey is a German Algerian duo consisting of Anne Ross and Manel Filali. German music producer Uwe Fahrenkrog-Petersen formed the duo under the Warner Music Group label in 2006. Their first single, "Habibi (je t'aime)", reached the 16th place on the German singles charts and remained on the charts for 12 weeks. Anne Ross (born 17 March 1985 in Dersum, Lower Saxony) is a German singer. She was a member of the German pop girl group Preluders. After Preluders disbanded, she and Manel Filali teamed up to form the duo Milk & Honey. Manel Filali (born December 11, 1981 in Hussein Dey, Algiers), better known by her stage name Honey, is an Algerian singer in the German pop music duo Milk & Honey.She grew up in Algeria before moving to Paris and eventually settling Berlin. She speaks Arabic, English, German and French. Manel Filali adds some oriental flair to the band. Her musical roots help to give Milk & Honey its unique sound.
