The album was released in Canada on August 12, 2008[10] and reached number two on the Canadian itunes chart. Girlicious received Platinum certification in Canada by the CRIA for their debut album Girlicious. A leaked track entitled "Blush" appeared via internet in early 2009 and was confirmed to be a track recorded for their first album which didn't make the final cut, much like Leave You Alone. Girlicious were the opening act for Britney Spears' 2009 tour on May 5 in Montreal, Quebec in place of the Pussycat Dolls. Girlicious is an American pop girl group featuring Natalie Mejia, Nichole Cordova, and Chrystina Sayers.
